It's been about a week since I started working on
Gunslinger Quake2. The
idea is to replace the guns with old west style weapons and provide a
little more realistic physics and logic (as well as secondary fire
modes). The weapon logic for the primary mode of the first five weapons
(bowie knife, revolver, pair of revolvers, double-barrel shotgun, and
pump-action shotgun) is finished, and there are some place-holder models
to make things look a little less weird. Next I'll be working on some
models, the logic for the other five weapons (hatchet, molatov cocktail,
lever-action rifle, Sharps single-shot rifle, and cannon), and secondary
firing modes.
